 1. To stimulate interest in golf at the WildHawk Golf Course
2. To promote and foster among the members a closer bond and fraternity
3. To encourage conformance to the USGA Rules of Golf by creating a representative authority
4. To maintain a uniform system of handicapping as set forth in the NCGA/USGA Handicap System
5. To provide an authoritative body to govern and conduct club competition

 

 
I joined the WPA in 2007 shortly after taking up golf and have served on the Board since 2008. This is my fourth year serving as Handicap Chairman and my third year on the Tournament Committee. As Handicap Chairman, I have a unique perspective on the range of abilities of our membership that makes our events competitive, fair and fun for every golfer from our experienced, scratch golfers to beginners and golfers with high handicaps. WPA is a great organization with a range of tournament formats that everyone enjoys.
