![]() Another new year brings new opportunities. This year I have put my hand in the air to carry the high standards of previous leaders to become the Wildhawk Players Association President. Having been on the Board for five years I've seen the high and low times and quite frankly this organization is quite resilient and is making its way back to one of the best golf groups in the greater Sacramento area. It is my intent to perpetuate this surge by implementing goals and objectives to improve our organization, improve membership by enhancing participation, and eliminate confusion by providing better communications. These goals and objectives can be obtained by insuring each Board member utilizes responsibility, timeliness, communications, teamwork, and represents the organization as an ambassador. Each person needs to share the qualities of respect, reliability, willingness to participate, express ideas clearly, and provide consistent policy. However, it is not enough that the Board members engender these qualities; the organization's overall membership needs to be willing to respond and participate also. The Board is working to make things responsive and enjoyable to membership at large; it is only natural that those who we are working for reciprocate with input and feedback. This, then, requires participation from the membership. By hearing from the membership lets us know we are meeting your expectations. So, in final, I am encouraged by the past leaders success and enthused to carry it forward. With all our help we can make the Wildhawk Players Association the envy of Sacramento! Come play the Hawk! Scott Davis - WPA President
