 1. To stimulate interest in golf at the WildHawk Golf Course
2. To promote and foster among the members a closer bond and fraternity
3. To encourage conformance to the USGA Rules of Golf by creating a representative authority
4. To maintain a uniform system of handicapping as set forth in the NCGA/USGA Handicap System
5. To provide an authoritative body to govern and conduct club competition

 

 
If you play at Wildhawk, chances are you’ve seen me a time or two hacking my way around! In 1997 I became Platinum Member #5, played the course with Phil Kuhn on opening day, and have been a regular ever since. I’ve been a board member each year (save for one) and served two years as President. The contribution I’m most proud of was proposing the Frequent Player’s Program several years ago. After watching others haul away fantastic raffle prizes at past Christmas dinners, I actually won the grand prize in the raffle this year, and I can tell you it was quite a rush!
Come out and join the WPA and play in our well run events. You’ll meet some great people and have a lot of fun!
