Board Meeting Minutes: November 30, 2011

Meeting called to order at 5:00 p.m. Phil

Board Meeting Minutes: Correction to the minutes, one member’s handicap was adjusted from 7.9 to 5.2. Minutes approved with correction,
Motion by Steve and seconded by Deane
Comments from Course: Tony Schwartz
The number six bunker is completed
The new Superintendent should be in place by the first of the year or sooner
Comments from the Membership -
Stephen White attended and indicated that several
members were very disappointed with the conflicting
information regarding the November Turkey Ball tournament.
Board agreed with the comments and the Tournament committee
will take responsibility to check and make
sure that this does not occur again.
Tournament Committee – Scott Davis
Holiday tournament is a straight stroke play event and will
have flights if enough players sign up.
Information Committee - No Report
Finance committee - Bruce Adams
Balance on hand as of today is $4,158.30. Bruce Adams moved that a
committee of Scott Davis, Phil Kuhn , Deane Hammitt and Bruce Adams
be appointed to determine the amount of money to be spent on the
raffle. Seconded by Deane. Motion passed without a no vote.
Handicap Committee - Tim Croisdale
Discussed monitoring of handicaps but no immediate change was recommended at this time.
Prize Committee - Phil Kuhn
Phil indicated that a combination of Costco and Pro Shop prizes for the raffle.
Frequent Player Committee - Steve Martinez
Will have the Christmas tournament players added prior to the tourney
Membership/Administration Committee - Deane Hammitt
Current WPA membership is 29 for 2012. Of those 29, 16 are new members
Website Committe - Bruce Hoffman
Next years tournament is posted on the website.
Old Business - Steve Martinez will get all the plaques updated with 2011 winners.
New Business - Phil Kuhn
Stacey is the new manager of the Grill.
Next Meeting will be Tues December 13th at 5:00 PM at the Wildhawk Grille for the
purpose of electing new officers and committee assignments.
With no additional business meeting was adjourned by motion of Steve, seconded
by Deane at approximately 6 PM.
