 1. To stimulate interest in golf at the WildHawk Golf Course
2. To promote and foster among the members a closer bond and fraternity
3. To encourage conformance to the USGA Rules of Golf by creating a representative authority
4. To maintain a uniform system of handicapping as set forth in the NCGA/USGA Handicap System
5. To provide an authoritative body to govern and conduct club competition

 

 
As the Treasurer for the WPA, I have been responsible to implement converting our financial records from hand kept copies to a computerized system. The Board is presented each month with a detailed accounting of income and expenditures. Over this past year we have been able to set goals for the amount of money to spend on meals, raffles and prizes based on these computerized records. I expect in 2011 to produce reports that will help the board utilize all of our available funds in the most efficient manner possible.
