Board Meeting Minutes: April 5, 2011

Board Members:

Comments from the Course - Paul
Greens Aerated with ¾” diameter x 6” long spikes, Mow and Roll Saturday
Tee Boxes next Monday and Tuesday
Bunker project will resume next week
Demo Day is April 9th

All of the course sponsors will receive the following:
     -Signage on designated spot on golf course
     -Recognition in our print advertisement
     -Allowed to put one marketing piece in the gift bag that all players will receive
     -Allowed to put gift item in gift bag that all players will receive
     -Recognized in Post tournament activities
No Sponsorship is sold until a check is received. Would like to have 50% down payment.

Look in to The River Cats Mascot – Dinger to attend – Chris will find out details
Advertising is Golf Today – Deane find out details
Suggest starting check in and pre registration at 8:00 AM – Shot Gun Start at 10:00 AM

 

Tournament/Rule Committee - Scott
Current Player Rule – Must play three tournaments in a 12 month period in order to play in the Club Championship and NCGA Tournaments
Motion to change this requirement to two tournaments in a 12 month period. If an exception is made a player must go through review process:
First – Tournament Committee
Second – Handicap Review Committee
Third – WPA Board must vote

Chelsea Savolainen will volunteer to take photo’s all day at Wounded Warrior Tournament

Wounded Warrior sign up is now available on the WPA website.
Participants can sign up using Pay Pal on print application
and mail with check.
