WPA Club Championship
Tournament
Format:
Stroke (Medal) Play. Championship Flight is "Scratch". You must have
an index of 4.0 or less to be seeded in the Championship Flight. All
others will be "Net". July Index will be used.
Date:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, August 1st, 2nd, and 3rd 2008
Time:
Tee Times starting at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, 7:00
A.M. on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday
tee times will be the reverse of Friday and Sunday tee times will be based on
scores (higher scores – early, lower scores – late).
Tees:
The Championship and President Flight will play from the Gold Tees. The Director
and Secretary Flights will play from the Blue Tees. Ladies will play from the
Green Tees. (Ladies handicap adjusted per Section 3-5 of the USGA/NCGA handicap

More Tournament Info:
In order to qualify all players must have played in a
minimum of three (3) WPA tournaments in the prior twelve (12) months.
Prizes for all four
flights (Championship, President,
Director, Secretary) based on a
minimum 80 players.
1st Place - Set of Golf Clubs or $500 Certificate
2nd Place - $250 Pro Shop Certificate
3rd Place
- $175 Pro Shop Certificate
4th Place
- $125 Pro Shop Certificate
5th Place
- $100 Pro Shop Certificate
A $25 Certificate for low
gross in the Championship Flight and low net in the President, Director and
Secretary Flight will be awarded for Friday and Saturday rounds.
POY:
This tournament qualifies for double Player of the Year (POY)
