WPA Club Championship Tournament

Format:  Stroke (Medal) Play

Date:  Friday, Saturday, Sunday, August 3, 4, 5, 2007

Time:  Tee Times starting at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, 7:00 A.M. on Saturday and Sunday.  For Friday Tee Times Only, please indicate when signing up whether you would like an early, mid or late tee time.  Saturday tee times will be the reverse of Friday and Sunday tee times will be based on scores (higher scores – early, lower scores – late).  

Tees:  The Championship and President Flight will play from the Gold Tees. The Director and Secretary Flights will play from the Blue Tees.  Ladies will play from the Green Tees.  (Ladies handicap adjusted per Section 3-5 of the USGA/NCGA handicap system.)  Go to our "Library & Misc" web page for more information on Section 3-5. 

More Tournament Info:  In order to qualify all players must have played in a minimum of three (3) WPA tournaments in the prior twelve (12) months. The 3 tournaments must have resulted in post able tournament scores. Note that the 2005 Club Championship qualified as four post able tournament scores. 

Rules:  There are no local rules for the flower beds on #4 and #7, lift-clean-place for imbedded balls, sudden death play off, no OB right of #9 and there is an OB right of #10 which will be 10 yards right of the cart path. 

Prizes for all four flights (Championship, President, Director, Secretary):  

A $25 Certificate for low gross in the Championship Flight and low net in the President, Director and Secretary Flight will be awarded on Friday and Saturday.
