STABLEFORD TOURNAMENT


FORMAT: Stableford Format.

DATE: Saturday, October 21, 2006

DEADLINE: Sunday, October 15, 2006

TIME: 7:30 A.M. SHOTGUN

TEES: All flights (men) will play from Blue Tees.  Ladies will play from the Green Tees. (Ladies handicap adjusted per Section 3-5 of the USGA/NCGA handicap system.)  Go to our "Library & Misc" web page for more information on Section 3-5.

RULES: The tournament is a Stableford format.  Play your own ball throughout the course.  Record your GROSS score on your scorecard.  The tournament committee will calculate all adjustments, net scores, and point totals.  All points will be accumulated using your NET score. Points will be awarded as follows:

Double Eagle                                5

Eagle                                              3

Birdie                                             2

Par                                                  1

Bogey                                            0

Double Bogey or higher            -1

PRIZES:  Four flights will be established.  The prizes will be pro shop gift certificates and the number of places awarded and amount will depend upon the tournament attendance.
